Goals or OKRs with activities

Welcome to Yesbox – your tool for successful goal management

We at Yesbox understands the importance of having clear goals to navigate successfully as an organization, a team or as individuals.

Goals act as our "navigation system" and give us direction and purpose. By setting different goals for different parts of the organization, we create a common destination for everyone – a destination that leads to long-term success.

With Yesbox we help you to combine your goals and activities by:

  • Strategic Objectives: We help you set long-term goals and communicate them to everyone in the organization.
  • Clear Division: We break down goals into teams and individuals so everyone can see how they contribute.
  • Activities such as Support: We support your goals by defining activities at different levels that help you reach your goals.
  • Reflection and Learning: We promote reflection on goals and activities to understand what has been successful or done differently.
  • Analysis and new Goals: By analyzing your activities, we help you discover patterns and generate live goals.

OKR - a smart Goal Management method

A special method we support is OKR (Objectives and Key Results). It's a smart way to work with goals:

  1. Identify Problems: Start by identifying a problem.
  2. Translate to Target: Translate the problem into an engaging overall goal (Objective).
  3. Create measurable results: Create 2-5 measurable key results (Key Results) that lead to your overall goal.
  4. Plan Activities: Plan initiatives and activities under each key result to move you forward.

We suggest that you work in shorter time cycles, preferably quarterly goals, to achieve the best results.

Yesbox - your partner for goal management

With Yesbox we don't think our tools automatically create better goals or more thoughtful activities. The job must be done. But we believe that our goal and activity module, together with dialogues and pulse measurements, make it easier for you to follow up and document your commitments.

By documenting the "dance" between goals and activities, between management and team, and between managers and employees, we create conditions for celebration, reflection and improvement.

We hope that the use of Yesbox becomes a personal "learning journey" for all users. We are also ready to adapt our platform to support your current way of working and goals.

Welcome to Yesbox – for a joint journey towards success!

Goals and activities

Just as a journey requires fuel, our goals need to be fueled by activities. These activities become the fuel that drives us towards our respective goals. But unlike ordinary vehicles, humans have a variety of "engines", i.e. our personal driving forces, which require different types of "fuel" to function effectively. Even when we work together as a "vehicle", each individual has their own driving forces, which makes the choice of activities complex.

It becomes even more complex because we are not always solely focused on a single long-term goal. Our desires and directions can change, and sometimes these changes lead to unexpected successes that affect our overall goals.

There is a constant dance going on in the organization where goals are interpreted by teams and individuals, and these interpretations create energy and direction for our activities. These activities become like dance steps that sometimes lead to destinations that become more important to individuals and teams, and this ultimately affects the long-term goals of the entire organization.

Activities (do)

Once the goals have been set, it will be easy to develop a development plan for the employee, there as well motivationone is included. We take into account the company's goals and strategies as well as the individual's driving forces to maximize the overall effect.

Everything is documented digitally in the action plan's activities and can be combined with your own Pulse Surveys monthly or weeklyCall. This makes it easy to follow up while the material gives you an overview and data throughout the year.

Tips  If the management starts with their OKR work, departments can easily relate to some measure upwards. Then take the employees and build on the departmental goals and everything is connected.
